  • Gifting a Healing Blanket at ThriveAbility Community Connection's Annual Event. I offered a Blanket Making Workshop and we partnered on making several to gift to local adults and children with life threatening illnesses so they felt loved and supported by their community.

  • Healing Blanket for Jordan and family. After getting life threatening burns and losing the family home to a fire, the community came together and paid to sign the blanket with encouraging messages and pay to tie the fringes on the outside for the family.

About us

More Than Just a Blanket

We are on a mission to make our world a better place to live. We work in collaboration with community members, local businesses and corporations to create handmade healing blankets with the goal of wrapping a cozy healing hug around every person that could benefit from one. Our goal is to create a ripple effect of joy and positivity by continuing to lead blanket making and empowerment workshops at shelters, hospitals, nursing homes, for victim support services, and schools. We aim to be a community pillar that fosters unity and to have those in need receive healing.
