A Blessed quest to make this world a better place to live for all.

One afternoon a group of teenagers walked up to an 8 year old at the playground who was radiating love and joy to throw punches at her. She provided them a service of being a temporary release of their pain, while they provided a service of delivering clarity that she wanted to be an outlet of support and inspire positive change in the world. The physical pain they inflicted was overridden by feeling the pain inside each abuser with every punch that made contact with her body. She felt compassion for their pain and so she did not run, nor did she fight. She exchanged words with the group, they shared a smile and went their separate ways. This was a great gift that she reflected on many times, leaving her with the impression that generating options to inspire positive change was important, that there is a power surrounding heartfelt communication, and that acting from a place of love lights up darkness. Even as a child, I acknowledged that I connected very deeply to people. The first main way is feeling what lies under the surface, the painful parts that are tucked away. The second main way is feeling their energy in its purest form, the true essence of who they are without pain energy. A deep level of care combined with being able to feel and see how someone is able to live their life without pain energy holding them back is what motivates me to inspire the choice to heal. In an effort to find clarity on how to offer my healing abilities to others, I went on a healing and self-awareness journey.

In my mid 20’s I began working at a portable sawmill company owned by my parents. We would take local already fallen trees that were once destined for wood chips and landfill, and turn them into custom live edge tables, create wood carvings, and make materials for movie sets to give the trees a second life. Feeling very connected to nature, it was beyond enjoyable to connect with the trees and co-create the materials the trees were being turned into. I recognized that women all over the world were trying to create equality in the forest industry so I contributed by showcasing my daily efforts on social media, created a large network for women to communicate with one another and worked with many organizations to help inspire young women to follow their passions in the trades. I now currently use my wood working experience and connection to the trees to create custom Energy Tables and Thrive Boards while still using my passion to connect people together and build thriving communities in a new way!

Regardless of the extent to which I was contributing to society, my cup would only fill up to a certain level and I was unsure of how to care for myself so I lived with the pain. I continued living this way until I received a wake-up call and became severely ill for 1.5 years, not expecting to survive. This painful blessing in disguise lead to a full recovery from my illness that turned into a goal of healing a life-time of trauma. I started learning about the impact of childhood sexual abuse which lead to many other avenues of self-healing, eventually providing an understanding of how to experience a fulfilled life. This became a long process and my growth was not strictly lineal. While learning one of my most challenging life lessons, I lived homeless for a couple of years as I tried to understand my value and worth. It took feeling like I was at rock bottom to acknowledge that the life lessons I had gone through were one of the greatest gifts I had to offer the world and that I would be able to contribute to society if I created a success story for myself. This is when I met my first guiding light who introduced me to the healing arts for the first time.

To continue my healing process, I began going to a sauna facility with the coldest cold pool in the area. Guests named me the Queen of the cold pool as they would watch how long I would stay in. I went to the sauna for personal intention sweats, sweating out what I no longer desired to be holding onto. I then used the cold pool to cleanse my system and alternated between the two methods until my session was complete. I felt a complete release of stress, resulting in a state of peace I had never felt before. I strengthened my immune system, improved my mood, balanced my energy, lost 30 pounds, reduced inflammation and eliminated pain. I then began offering individual and group intention sweats to offer an option to experience the benefits that I did.

I then began experiencing the power of intention and the healing power of nature while simultaneously being supported by a community. I studied ancient healing practices, plant medicine and spent much time in nature when I began bringing people into the elements to demonstrate the difference between being in nature and fully connecting to nature, eventually resulting in the creation of Ground Ten and the use of the elements in healing practices.

As I learned to love and accept myself for everything that I am, I naturally began to express myself freely, achieve goals with ease, and attract positive experiences. I received one puzzle piece at a time through challenging life lessons, receiving insight and love from healers, training in different healing modalities and having an intention to heal. With the understanding of the why’s and how’s I was given a key to the treasure chest of my own heart and began offering my love and my joy while sharing my wisdom to people who would like to create the life they desire to live, are seeking emotional support and desire to heal. And when I turned the key, the 8 year old child in me gave me a hug filled with enough joy and love for a lifetime and our connected hearts have worked together for humanity ever since!
